Biography of Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Anthony was shown with athleticism the moment he played for his high school team at Oak Hill Academy. He was very explosive in getting to the rim and had a deadly midrange jump shot. He was ranked one of the top players in the nation and attended Syracuse University after high school. He was successful during his only year there as he led the Orangemen to their first ever NCAA tournament title in 2003. Then he got drafted to the Denver Nuggets with the third pick and has led them to the playoffs every year since he came including the Western Conference finals. Then he was traded to the New York Knicks in February 2011 to join Amare Stoudemire and help lead the team to a championship.
